A subtle and minimal patterned necklace.
A delicately etched surface that creates a negative pattern on a brushed sterling silver 925 tube threaded on a snake chain.
On a trip to Carse Bay in Scotland, Laura made drawings from the patterns left in the sand when the tide went out. These patterns focus on negative space and create a subtle textured surface when combined with brushed silver. The tube on this necklace sits horizontally, yet it is also free to move with the wearer, similarly to the tide. Each pattern is drawn onto the tube by hand, and is then etched. Making each piece completely unique.
